Site Information

Tomorrow's Deception was created by Sarah on the March 14th of 2008. It's a small graphic design site centered around anime, manga and games. Originally hosted by awardspace, on June 20th of 2008 the site was moved to a new subdomain provided by Teddy of Twilight Melody. Finally on December 14th 2008 I bought my own domain, and decided to move Tomorrow's Deception to a subdomain under it. This was the site's final move.

Since then, the site has grown significantly; It offers premade layouts, icons, signs, and a variety of other graphics. Although the level of graphic design is not considered the highest, the site is mostly for the convenience of those who choose to use its content.

I have gotten a couple questions on the site name, it's pretty random to be honest. My very first graphics site was called "Rainy Days" (which is now the name of my blog), but I thought that was a bit too generic, so when I created this site I had a long stream of consciousness which led me to the name "Tomorrow's Deception". Really there is a reason and meaning behind the name but it's a bit hard to explain, and I'm sure no one is really that interested in it. I apologize for the name being long as well, if you need to shorten or abbreviate it please refer to the site as "T-D", "TD", or "T. Deception". I would prefer any of those to just "Deception".

Inspiration for the site comes from a lot of different places, most designs are completely random, while some are preplanned in my mind. I try to make the designs as unique as possible while still drawing inspiration from other places. A lot of layout names or phrases used on images are from songs by my favorite bands, or by what ever I am feeling at the moment. I have also been known to use a stanza or line from poetry I have written. Sometimes I will even design layouts just off of a line from a song such as the layout the divide layout "Crystal World" the name was taken from the Black Sabbath song Snowblind.

Tomorrow's Deception is constantly growing with new graphics every month. Please enjoy the site and feel free to e-mail me or use the contact form if you have any comments or questions.

Tomorrow's Deception is part of The Fear Network.
