It’s Time to Say Goodbye.
Well it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Actually about six months, wow. Well I’m sure this will come as no surprise to most of you, since I have failed at updating and my hostees have been closing. I have decided to say goodbye to Tomorrow’s Deception and my entire network domain for that matter. My domain name is going to expire in December this year, and that’s when my sites will officially go down for good.
I am sad to see years of work be shut down, but at the same time I am really excited for my future in web design and development. Some of you may know that for the past year I have been studying Computer Science and Multimedia at University and I feel like I have learned a lot about programming and important CS concepts. I am ready to move on to a more professional environment for my designs since I will be looking for an internship next summer. I am hoping to work as a front-end and/or back-end developer for a web design or software company. I still have a lot of plans to work out but I am really excited to move on. I will be making a new portfolio this summer under a new domain name and if anyone is interested I will be happy to share the link once the site is finished.
As for the content of this site, I will be donating a fair amount of my icons, transparent PNGs, and layouts to other graphics sites. Most of the wallpapers should be available on my Minitokyo account. I am also thinking about making a special DeviantArt account to archive some of the graphics that don’t get donated. I will update with the link to that account when I am done adding everything. The only section that will not be preserved is the banners, though they will remain on the site until it’s closure. All of the PNGs that I feel are worth keeping are being donated to Kuusou, and Yukie has already put up a bunch of the ones I sent her. I will let everyone know once I have figured out the graphics situation completely, but for now everything is still available on the site.
I would like to thank all of my affiliates and link exchanges for sticking with me through these past four years. You guys have been amazingly supportive and I wish you the best of luck with your websites, feel free to remove my link at this time. Finally I would like to thank all of the viewers of this site. I can’t believe how successful T-D has become. Every time I see so many lovely comments on my graphics or one of my premades being used it makes me so happy! You guys have been so amazing and it’s your support that has kept this site alive for so long. I feel that my site and my abilities have grown and matured with this community and I will always remember my roots in the aniime web community. Here’s to a new beginning!
